Our story

AA TERRA ANTIQUA s.r.o. is the first private archaeological company in Slovakia, which obtained the authorization to carry out archaeological research from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic in 2006. Since then we have carried out more than 350 archaeological researches all over Slovakia, specializing in all types of archaeological research.

The scientific guarantor of our company for the Archaeological Council is the eminent expert PhDr. Karol Pieta, DrSc. In addition, we cooperate closely with experts in the field of anthropology, archaeozoology and archaeobotany. In our research we use the most modern methods of excavation and documentation, such as geodetic surveys, photogrammetry, geophysical measurements or traditional drawing, to guarantee precise and efficient results.

ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANING

ABITEC, s.r.o. focuses on technologies that purify the environment from a wide variety of contaminants harmful to humans and nature. We are a Czech company with many years of experience dating back to 1993. We also deal with research projects focused on the environment.

ABITEC, s.r.o. meets the requirements for a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2016. The downloadable certificate can be found in the Documents section.
Our customers are mainly groundwater and soil decontamination companies, waste management companies, industrial enterprises, wastewater treatment plant operators, energy producers, biofuel producers and private individuals.

In January 2023, the NYMPHE (New sYsteM-driven bioremediation of Polluted Habitats and Environment) research project on bioremediation of polluted environments was launched. The scientific coordinator is the University of Bologna, 18 partners from 12 European countries are involved in the project and we are one of them.

ACANTHA ARCHEOLOGY s.r.o. was founded in 2011. Since its inception, we have specialized in the implementation of all types of archaeological research. Our flexibility and professional approach allow us to respond quickly and efficiently to the requirements of our clients, while always ensuring the high quality of our services.

In addition to archaeology, we also cooperate with experts in other areas of heritage conservation, which allows us to provide comprehensive solutions for each project.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AND ADVICE

CWT s.r.o. is a Slovak company founded in 2005. The company initially dealt with the area of waste management, later expanded its portfolio to other areas and today offers a comprehensive environmental service within the framework of the relevant legislation of selected environmental components. One of the interesting projects was the waste management of the capital city of Bratislava and its catchment areas.

We provide environmental service, services and consultancy in the field of waste, packaging, authorized activities, air, water, EIA, IPKZ etc.

ELIS is an R&D company in Dublin, Ireland, providing solutions in intelligent leak detection for geomembrane liners.

Founded in 2018 by experienced professionals, ELIS brings over 25 years of expertise to advance the leak detection industry into a new era of automation.

ELIS smart systems, developed and manufactured in-house, autonomously navigate drones. They gather spatial readings of artificial electric fields and mark precise GPS coordinates of discrepancies—leaks. This innovative technology offers the fastest and most accurate leak detection service currently available. ELIS helps mitigate the environmental impact of potentially toxic leaks, enhances regulatory certainty, and conserves client time and resources. This technology significantly benefits clients’ investor and public relations, especially in ESG realms.

ENPI is a Slovak company focusing on design, consulting and engineering in the field of energy and environment. It brings solutions in the production and supply of energy in any form while respecting ecological criteria and protecting our environment.

In October 2021 the interest association of legal entities Envirocentrum Banská Štiavnica was established. The founding members of the association are ESPRIT spol. s r.o. Banská Štiavnica and the town of Banská Štiavnica.

The aim of the Association is to contribute to the increase of climate and environmental literacy of individuals through the popularization and communication of the latest scientific knowledge on climate change, innovative approaches and best practices for adaptation of the country to climate change and mitigation of its consequences.

Eurex Energy is a Slovak company with more than 15 years of experience in research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences.

Eurex Energy, s.r.o. has capitalized on its own development with the use of foreign knowledge and experience in the production of a new technology using renewable and alternative energy sources EUREX ECO 01 equipment for the recovery of mixed waste plastics in chemical form.

We are design and engineering company specializing in transport and civil engineering. We provide our customers with complete design development, including build­ing information modeling (BIM), environmental consultancy, construction supervision, and a full spectrum of consulting ser­vices during the lifecycle of a civil structure.

Our long-term effort is to increase the construction indus­try’s flexibility, transparency, and overall efficiency. We put pres­sure on the digitization of construction preparation and mod­ern tools to manage the entire construction process. We seek opportunities for international cooperation and are among the supporters of public-private partnerships in preparing and im­plementing transport infrastructure projects.

We deliver our services to government bodies, construction com­panies, and private infrastructure investors. We supply in prepar­ing PPP projects and have experience working within internation­al consortia.

We have been operating in the Central and Eastern European markets since 1994. Our key experts have more than 100 years of cumulative experience in Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection (NDT) projects in various industries. During our existence, we have provided services to end customers from more than 20 countries.

We are a market leader with an undisputed reputation and are among the few companies that are authorized to carry out inspection activities and defectoscopy work in nuclear power plants.

Our core team of professionals consists of 20 experts, and for large projects we gather and manage more than 100 certified experts from the Czech Republic and Slovakia who meet strict technological standards.

All our employees are qualified and certified according to EN ISO 9712 & PED LEVELS II and III. We have an integrated management system in place, which includes ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

Since the early 1990s, WT:R has continuously researched and developed technology that will provide a more sustainable, innovative and cost-effective wastewater treatment solution.
Over the last 30 years there have been many modifications and new versions of our unique, now patented technology, all developed to meet different influent and effluent requirements.

Our technology has been successfully tested on small applications and domestic treatment plants and then gradually scaled up to larger projects – up to our current largest project, which has a capacity of 42,000 tonnes/day.

Collaborations with construction companies and other business partners have been established in many countries around the world and to date we have over 200 successful projects that have been built around the world, treating over 300,000 tonnes of wastewater daily.
